Woodland Online - latest platform updates March 2023
Update to Woodland’s digital supply chain platform, Woodland Online, includes access to thousands more quotes and refined search options
The Woodland Online digital platform delivers 360 supply chain management granting access to live quotation rates for bookings, order management solutions, real time tracking, and functional reporting spanning all aspects of the supply chain, from finance to carbon footprints.
The update provides a more seamless experience when searching for quotations and additional benefits to enhance your digital supply chain management processes.
New and improved features:
Live Time NAAA Connection
The US Port to Port export full load rates that Woodland has access to via their NAAA membership, are now available on Woodland online. We’ve combined the NAAA rates with drayage to give real time Door to Port export quotes from across the US, to over 500 destinations globally.
New “Origin Only” & “Destination Only” Quotes
The update provides additional search options for agents quoting overseas, now including “destination only” and “origin only” search capabilities available at the top of your search bar.
Both destination quotes from arrival ports, airports and depots to the final delivery location, and origin quotes from collection location to origin ports, airports and depots are now available in the US and the UK.
Other Updates Include:
- Preferred Collection time added. When a user opts for a specific collection time at an additional fee, a ‘preferred collection time’ box has been added to the booking form for air and LCL bookings.
- Chargeable weight on air quotes now displayed, calculated at 6000 cc or the actual weight if greater.
- Users can now add a hazardous goods warning on PDF quotes, stating hazardous goods are not accepted unless expressly stated.
- The booking form’s tendency to change the collection date to a day early has also been fixed.
