Sarah Collins, Business Journalist, the Irish Independent
Sarah Collins is a business journalist with the Irish Independent. She was previously a European reporter for the same newspaper and Brussels correspondent for the London Evening Standard. Her work has also appeared in the Irish Times, Irish Examiner and Times (of London).
Sam Warren, Sustainability Manager, Woodland Group
Sam has dedicated his career thus far to tackling climate change across the public and private sector. As Sustainability Manager for Woodland Group, Sam’s position covers the decarbonisation of internal business operations across the fleet and facilities, external discussions with clients on methods to monitor transport emissions and decarbonise the movement of their goods, development of the Group’s net-zero strategy, and managing the ongoing accreditations held by Woodland that verify the commitments made to tackle climate change and meet the highest ESG standards.
Using in-depth reporting tools, Sam and the rest of the team at Woodland are able to measure and analyse current supply chain emissions, implement methods to decarbonise, and finally go through the process of ensuring carbon neutral shipments are available to clients where meeting ESG targets are their ambition for today, not just the distant future.
Brian Murphy, Customs & Trade Advisor, Globaltrade.ie
Brian Murphy is a customs and supply chain professional with over 20 years’ experience working for multinational organisations in global roles. Brian has extensive experience of international supply chains and the customs and trade facilitation measures associated with them.
Brian is a pragmatic problem solver providing solutions that enable change and improved operational performance. He is an excellent communicator who facilitates the transition between strategy or theory into real time operations, and has worked extensively with customs policies, adapting new and best practices into daily operations at both government and private sector level.
Nicolas Moeller, Chief Executive Officer, IFB International Freightbridge Ltd
Nicolas Moeller is the Chief Executive Officer for IFB Group in the Far East. He is responsible for the management of IFB’s 60 offices in Asia and its 700 employees.
Before being named CEO in 2016, Nicolas was responsible for the management of the group’s activities in South East Asia as well as the worldwide agency network.
Prior to joining IFB, Nicolas served as the General Manager Sales for Atlantic Forwarding Group while he also spent 5 years as Key Account Director for ABX Logistics.
Having worked in Asia for 20 years and having lived in China, Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong during that time, Nicolas has a deep understanding of the region and the different cultures in Asia as well as a strong network of contacts and relationships across Asia Pacific.
Nini Mikolajski, Founder and Sustainability Consultant, ROOTS.
Nini co-founded ROOTS., a London based marketing and communications agency that works with high-speed brands, committed to making a difference for clients and the world we live in.
