UK Business Heroes 2020

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of all of our teams, Woodland Group has been nominated as a UK Business Hero 2020 for outstanding service and support to our community during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Whether our drivers and essential workers in the warehouses, our support staff working remotely, out IT teams building software solutions to facilitate continuing services without disruption and our dedicated transport and supply chain teams delivering solutions in this daily changing environment, Woodlanders across the globe have supported one another in delivering much needed goods safely and in time. 

Our COVID-19 Rapid Response team has worked with local government authorities, trusts, commercial organisations and charities to assist in importing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and thanks to our sourcing teams, we were able to organise the entire supply chain, delivering much needed vital equipment to local communities. 

We also supported local COVID-19 response teams in our communities with free equipment and resources, so that temporary hospitals and first response stations could be built. All the while, our teams across all locations have been continuously working to put in place and adapt to additional safeguarding measures to protect Woodlanders, their families and the public.

Thank you to the British Chambers of Commerce for celebrating Woodlanders and other UK business teams across the nation for their positive work and impact throughout the year. We're very proud of every one of our team members for going above and beyond to assist each other and our communities in challenging times.
