Preparation for Customs Declaration Service

In preparation, any existing deferment accounts held with us need to be registered with CDS to ensure they will work within the new system for entry completion.

Please follow the below steps to complete the registration process:

1. Sign in to your Business Tax account
2. Select 'manage account'.
3. Select 'give a team member access to a tax, duty or scheme'.
4. Select 'Customs Declaration Service (CDS)'.
5. Save and exit

A benefit of the change to CDS is the 'Top Up' facility for deferment accounts. This will allow you to make interim payments to your account to cover any unexpectedly high throughput you may receive throughout the year.
