New cargo screening procedures - USA
From 30th June 2021, a new mandate stipulates for all export cargo on commercial freighters in all member states of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) to be screened before loading onto the aircraft.
Screening will continue to be done by CCSF operators approved by the TSA, using a combination of sniffer dogs (K-9), x-ray, ETD and physical search or directly by the airlines.
As an approved TSA CCSF operator with our own screening capabilities and existing relationship with K-9 teams, Woodland Group are already preparing for the increase in screening requirements and are available to discuss should you have any questions.
