Kerala rains and floods have brought the state to a standstill

India’s southern state of Kerala is reeling after what is being called the worst flooding in 100 years.

While authorities are trying to manage the effects of this crisis and rescue efforts continue to help those stranded, operations at Cochin International Airport are predicted to stay suspended until 26th August due to flooding in and around the airport with delays expected as a result.
