Category 4 Hurricane Michael nears Florida Panhandle

With Hurricane Michael declared a Category 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 150 mph approaching the southern US state of Florida, local carriers will have very limited service.

The National Hurricane Center described Michael as "potentially catastrophic", and possibly be the worst storm ever to hit the Florida Panhandle with hundreds of thousands of people having been told to evacuate their homes.

All deliveries and pick-ups in the region will be impacted and transit delays are to be expected.

We will continue to monitor the situation. Please contact your local Woodland team with any questions.
