Free trade deal: Australia – UK

Today’s announcement marks the first major post-Brexit free trade agreement the UK has struck.

The free trade agreement will provide opportunity for both nations to increase exports and grow businesses while benefiting from removed tariffs. The food and drink (including confectionery), car and machinery/manufacturing as well as agricultural sectors are just some of the main industries which both governments hope to see benefit from the agreement.
