Woodland Group will be attending Bologna Children's Book Fair this year, joining publishers, rights professionals and partners from across the global children’s publishing sector to discuss the supply chains behind books moving worldwide.

Woodland Group will be in Bologna this year, meeting publishers and partners from across the children’s publishing industry.

The Bologna Children’s Book Fair brings together the international children’s publishing community, creating an important space for conversations around books, rights, production and global distribution.

From illustrated print runs and reprints to international freight and changing publishing schedules, children’s books rely on supply chains that can respond quickly and deliver consistently across global markets.

For Woodland Group, attending Bologna Children’s Book Fair is an opportunity to continue conversations with publishers already operating internationally, while also meeting new contacts navigating the practical demands of print, stock movement and distribution.

The fair attracts publishers, illustrators, rights specialists and distributors from around the world, reflecting the pace and complexity of modern children’s publishing.

Members of the Woodland team attending this year include:

  • Jamal Essalama: Head of Publishing
  • Susie Scally: Head of Media Sales North America

Bologna Children's Book Fair takes place at BolognaFiere from 31 March to 3 April 2026, bringing together children’s publishing professionals from across international markets for four days of meetings, rights discussions and industry insight.
