Warehouse Office Administrator (Doncaster)

Woodland Group are recruiting a Office Administrator for one of our sites at the iPort in Doncaster. The Warehouse Office Administrator is responsible for assisting the Customer Service Team with general administrative duties to ensure timely and accurate reactions to customer’s enquires and order processing. The Warehouse Office Administrator will Reporting to the Senior Customer Service Coordinator and working closely with Customer Service Team, Warehouse and Site Operational Teams.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and organised with the ability to work well in a small team as well as independently. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn is vital for this role, as well as someone who is confident communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels. Experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred, although not essential if the above criteria can be demonstrated.
Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:00

About the job:
- Maintain and update spreadsheets and records using our CRM system and Microsoft Office
- Respond to customer queries, mostly via our ticket system and emails, however some telephone and face to face communication will be required
- Assist with general office organisation and ensure smooth day to day operations
- Liaising with the warehouse team to investigate queries and advise on order updates
- Assist with booking deliveries or collections, and communicating with the inbound/dispatch team to facilitate loading / unloading vehicles
- Greeting visitors on site
- Preparing shipping labels and organising packages for despatch
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Work with the team to continually improve processes and business performance;
- Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward; and
- Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Achieve agreed individual objectives; and
- Understand and adhere to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
About you:
- Prior experience in warehouse administration or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with warehouse management systems and inventory control software
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of maintaining a professional demeanour when interacting with drivers, colleagues, and management.
