  • 99% of Indian exports to the UK now enter duty-free, covering sectors such as textiles, footwear, jewellery and marine products.
  • India has removed or reduced tariffs on 90% of tariff lines for UK goods, covering 92% of current UK exports to India. 64% of tariff lines are duty-free from today, rising to 85% within 10 years.
  • Bilateral trade is forecast to rise by £25.5bn a year by 2040, according to UK government estimates.
