Woodland Group are recruiting a Senior Warehouse Team Leader for one of our sites at the iPort Doncaster. The Senior Warehouse Team Leader must maintain strong working relationships with the operational teams along with the Warehouse office staff. Assist with overseeing the day to day operation of the warehouse for the chosen arears. Have first-hand involvement in the control and use of the warehouse facilities and staff ensuring the efficient, accurate and safe dispatch of goods.

About the job:
- Liaise with the office and customer service teams to ensure SLA’s / KPI’s are being achieved;
- Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and make sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met;
- Coordinate the use of computerised systems where necessary;
- Assist with planning future capacity requirements;
- Work with the Warehouse Supervisor to organise the training of staff, as well as monitor their performance and progress;
- Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the department to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded;
- Communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor and team on a daily basis as to department requirements and pressures;
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the warehouse, for example, ensure that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely;
- Plan, prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule including but not limited to loading, packing, wrapping and labelling;
- Receive and process warehouse stock products including but not limited to picking, unloading, labelling and storing;
- Ensure warehouse operatives are achieving hourly and daily targets;
- Complete any other tasks as required for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
- Work with the Doncaster management team to continually improve processes and business performance; Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward; and
- Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.
