Together boxing clever

Cepac, the UK’s leading independent corrugated packaging company, signs a new 5 year lead logistics supply contract with Woodland Logistics.

Woodland Logistics has been servicing the Cepac business since 2005, providing a dedicated fleet of trucks and trailers based at the four Cepac manufacturing sites in the UK, operating a 24/7 delivery service that complements the partnership and excellent customer service levels provided to the Cepac customer base.

Woodland Logistics introduced innovative IT functionality to streamline the flow of data for KPI reporting and the automation of live vehicle ETA’s, E-POD’s and tacho graph and working time directive legislation.

The introduction of a fleet of new Mercedes Benz Euro 6 Actros tractor units with predictive power train and active brake control systems delivers additional fuel savings and safety standards, both of which are paramount in maintaining a cost-efficient fleet and safe systems of work for the driving workforce and general public.

Woodland delivers in excess of 10,000 pallets equating to more than 280 loads per week for Cepac servicing a wide-range of customers, including significant blue-chip clients in food, beverage and other sectors.

Woodland Logistics has witnessed significant growth in its services to the UK packaging industry with further strategic expansion planned.

Woodland Group complements the domestic services of Woodland Logistics with its global air, ocean and road services, which has served as a differentiator for the business with its customers having a quality partner for all of their global logistics needs.
