Woodlanders support the Panathlon Foundation with 100 mile bike ride
A team of Woodlanders will be looking to complete the Ride London Essex 100 challenge in support of the Panathlon Foundation charity
The Woodlanders will be taking on the challenge on Sunday, 29th May, starting at London's Victoria Embankment and winding out through East London and into Essex, stretching as far as Braintree, before returning to the capital to finish at Tower Bridge. The 100 mile charity ride in aid of the Panathlon Foundation will pass various London landmarks, including The Gherkin and Stratford's Olympic Park, whilst also taking in the sights of Epping Forest, Writtle and Hylands Park as it passes Woodland Group's hometown of Chelmsford.
The Panathlon Foundation benefits the lives of thousands of young people with disabilities and special educational needs every year. The foundation works with disadvantaged young people in order to give them the opportunity to take part in competitive sport across England and North Wales.
