More than 25 years’ experience providing dedicated supply chain solutions to the media and publishing sector has made Woodland Group a trusted, key supplier to the industry. Having grown quickly since our foundation in 1988, Woodland's dedicated Media team was born in 1994, and has since grown to work extensively with the world’s leading printers, publishers, and booksellers.

Our customer footprint within the global media sector continues to build year on year with the industry having been a foundation stone in the Group’s growth, resulting in the opening of our own operations in Asia in 2014.

Our continued investment into forward-thinking digital solutions has seen us launch our own proprietary IT ecosystem for the Media industry as well as a supply chain carbon calculator, allowing us to build real-time pricing solutions, order processing and uniquely, offer traceability of books in transit at an ISBN level while delivering full emissions reporting and carbon-conscious consultancy.

Our specialist Media team is supported by a Supply Chain Analytics team as well as an in-house customs consultancy team, delivering onsite or remote training for customers on any supply chain related topic, including documentation needs, regulatory changes, and overseas market requirements.

With dedicated publishing warehouse facilities in Chicago, UK, Hong Kong and the Netherlands, offering in-country support to hold stock and extensive final-mile capabilities, our commitment to the media and publishing sector will allow us to bring valuable expertise to the Publishers Association and ongoing industry initiatives led by the PA.

Already participating in the Association’s Sustainability Taskforce, we will provide industry insight and a dedicated network to support the Association’s members in optimising their supply chains sustainably.
