Weather Conditions Continue To Disrupt Port Operations
Please find here the latest update on the impact the severe weather in the UK & Ireland has had on local ports and operations:
Felixstowe
- Felixstowe is closed with wind warnings extended to 4pm on Friday, 2nd March.
London Gateway
- Current services are suspended.
Southampton
- Currently open as normal, however, pilots are suspended, which will have an impact on vessels.
Liverpool
- Currently open and working but high winds expected.
Grangemouth
- Currently closed landside & shipside.
Teesport
- Service disruption due to the wind, compounded by drifting snow.
South Shields
- Disruption to operations due to high winds.
Tilbury
- Currently closed landside & shipside.
Belfast
- Currently closed landside & shipside.
Dublin
- Peel Ports have closed their Dublin Terminal entirely for all transport and vessel operations today (Thursday 01/03/18).
- Dublin Container and Transport Services (DCATS) and Rushfleet at South Bank are also closed.
Cork
- The Port of Cork is closed.
- O'Connell Container Depot will be closed until Monday, 5th March.
- Cosgraves Transport is closed as of 12:00 today.
Container depots in Leeds, Manchester, Cleveland and Widnes are also closed.
