Typhoon Muifa Advisory: All flights to Shanghai's international airports cancelled

All international flights into China's biggest city have been cancelled as Typhoon Muifa makes landfall

Flights into Shanghai's Pudong and Hongqiao airports have been cancelled in preparation for Typhoon Muifa, a storm that has been categorised as powerful enough to fell trees, knock down power lines and cause building damage with wind speeds expected of around 95mph.

The port city of Ningbo is also on red alert, with flights cancelled and loading and unloading of vessels suspended whilst ships are sheltering at berth.
