Calais Port Closure

The port of Calais closed this morning from 0800 for 24hours (until Friday 25th September) due to industrial action by French Unions.
Services have been suspended and operators are diverting to alternative ports with the port of Dover remaining operational.
As a result, there are delays on the road to Dover as well as Calais with freight waiting to be rerouted, which may carry through over the coming days as the backlog of freight is being worked through.
