Woodland Group are recruiting Reporting Systems Accountant who will report to the Group Management Accountant and form part of the Finance team. The Reporting Systems Accountant will be supporting the smooth running of the Financial reporting of the business with a particular emphasis on statutory accounting / audit and system maintenance and implementation. The position will require liaising with external and internal stakeholders of the Woodland companies.

What you will be doing:

Be the key contact for auditors for several Group companies.

Production of annual statutory accounts. (word)

Support of Group level accounting

Document “as is” business processes.

Develop “to be” business processes of the Group with the view of future system implementation to ensure focus on efficiency gains and best practice.

Lead on data cleansing

Develop appropriate hierarchy for departments / nominals and cost centres.

Administer and maintain appropriate system and role security.

Work with the Finance team to continually improve processes and business performance.

Go to person for system amendments / control and maintenance.

Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward; and

Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.

ACCA / ACA / CIMA finalist or qualified

Advanced Excel
