Introducing a Specialized Insurance Program for Child Care Providers

The Woodland Group has been serving the interests of child care professionals across the state since 1995. The Woodland Group has developed a reputation for excellence. This commitment to excellence is underlined in the exclusive childcare Insurance Program: a property & casualty insurance program designed to meet the needs of child care providers like you.

We recommend you review these coverages and then contact our office at 1-800-253-1521 for further information.

Coverage Features

What Coverages are available to New Jersey Child Care Providers through this special insurance program?   Here is a list of possibilities and options:

PROPERTY

Woodland's Elite Child Care Program offers a broad property form which covers your real and personal property as well as loss of income if your business is closed due to a loss from a covered peril. We also offer Boiler and Machinery coverage along with Crime, Employee Dishonesty, and Electronic Data Processing.

LIABILITY

General Liability limits of up to $3 million aggregate per location are available in this program. We also offer a special Day Care Center Endorsement which responds to allegations of sexual abuse by your staff.  This endorsement also extends coverage to include volunteers while acting at your direction.

AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY

You transport precious cargo every time the children in your care enter one of your vehicles, which underscores the importance of Automobile coverage to handle a wide spread of risks. Our coverages respond to such diverse needs as Auto Liability, Medical Payments, Personal Injury Protection, Physical Damage, Uninsured Motorist and Hired & Non-Owned Auto Liability.

AUTOMATIC COVERAGE EXTENSIONS

Many insurance contracts are very similar in coverages and limits. At The Woodland Group, we constantly look for opportunities to improve the terms and conditions to better serve the specific needs of each type of business we serve. In the case of child care, these coverage extensions include higher limits for Accounts Receivable, Personal Effects, Extra Expense, and Valuable Papers. We even have coverage features for Newly Acquired Property, Glass, Signs and Moneys, Checks and Stamps. The insurance professionals at The Woodland Group will be happy to explain these features in greater detail.

OPTIONAL COVERAGES AVAILABLE

Depending on geographical location, businesses must address such hazards as flood and earthquake, two options available through our coverage for child care businesses. We also recommend our customers consider Umbrella Liability coverage, an added way of protecting a small business in these very litigious times.
